CoderGang ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Direct Chat mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device using CoreData. This data is never transmitted to our servers:

• Chat History: Phone numbers you have contacted through the App, along with timestamps.
• Message Templates: Predefined messages you create, including titles, content, categories, and favorite status.
• Custom Categories: Message categories you create to organize your templates.
• Preferences: Your selected country code, onboarding status, and premium status.
• Usage Counters: Daily send count for free tier limits, stored locally.

1.2 Information Collected by Third-Party Services

Our App uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

Google AdMob (Google LLC)

• Purpose: To display advertisements to free users.
• Data collected: Device identifiers, IP address, usage data, and ad interaction data.

RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.)

• Purpose: To process in-app purchases and manage premium subscriptions.
• Data collected: Anonymous app user ID, purchase history, and device information.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal contact information.
• We do not have access to your phone contacts or address book.
• We do not read, store, or transmit the content of your WhatsApp, SMS, or Telegram messages.
• We do not create user accounts or require registration.
• We do not use analytics or tracking tools beyond what is provided by AdMob.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide the core functionality of the App (initiating chats, saving message templates, maintaining chat history).
• To display advertisements to free users via Google AdMob.
• To process in-app purchases and verify premium status via RevenueCat.
• To generate wa.me links and QR codes based on the phone numbers you enter.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Data is only shared with the third-party services described in Section 1.2, solely for the purposes stated.

When you use the App to initiate a chat, the phone number and optional message you enter are sent directly to WhatsApp, SMS, or Telegram through their respective URL schemes or APIs. We do not act as an intermediary for these communications.

4. Data Storage and Security

All user-generated data (chat history, message templates, categories) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your data. If you delete the App, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

6. Your Rights

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it:

• Delete data: You can delete individual chat history entries, message templates, and custom categories within the App, or delete all data by uninstalling the App.
• Opt out of ads: You can purchase the Premium version to remove all advertisements.
• Ad tracking: You can limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings (Settings > Privacy > Tracking on iOS).

7. Third-Party Links

The App may redirect you to third-party applications (WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram) or websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
