Google Fi APN: h2g2-t

See all values ↓

Use this guide only if mobile data or picture messages (MMS) stop working on an active Google Fi line. These settings restore the normal connection of your own plan: they do not add data, change your plan or remove charges.

Before you start

  • Your phone must be unlocked and compatible with Google Fi, and your line must be active with a plan that includes data.
  • Turn on Mobile data and check that you have signal.
  • Google Fi normally configures your phone during its official activation. Check the APN only if data or SMS fail after activation.

Steps

  1. Open Settings > Connections (or Network & internet) > Mobile networks (or SIMs) > Access Point Names.
  2. Tap ⋮ > Reset to default, select the Google Fi APN if it appears and test mobile data.
  3. If it still does not work, check that the selected APN matches the values below; if it does not, tap Add (+) and enter them exactly as written.
  4. Tap ⋮ > Save, select the new APN and restart the phone.

Values published by Google Fi

  • APN: h2g2-t
  • MMSC: https://m.google.com/mms/wapenc

Google Fi publishes only these two values for Android. Leave the other fields as they are; if Android asks for a name when adding the APN, any name works (for example, Google Fi).

If it still does not work

Turn airplane mode on and off and restart the phone. If the problem continues, contact Google Fi through its official support channels. Do not use APN profiles shared by unofficial sources.
